On the afternoon of September 16, 2004, a joyous 18-year-old, Lynn Gordon "Gordie" Bailey Jr., pledged Chi Psi Fraternity at the University of Colorado. The next morning he was found dead, a victim of an irresponsible hazing ritual involving alcohol. Haze is the story of Gordie's tragic death, and the definitive film about alcohol abuse on U.S. college campuses.

This Sunday on 60 Minutes, Lesley Stahl examines the policy debate over lowering the drinking age to 18, in a 60minutes report that includes Gordie's heart-wrenching story. (Sunday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.) The segment will feature Gordie's mother and stepfather, Leslie and Michael Lanahan, and The Gordie Foundation.

SnagFilms is proud to be the exclusive on-line distributor for Haze. And we are also proud to support the Gordie Foundation, which is dedicated to the memory of Gordie Bailey, and provides today’s young people with the skills to navigate the dangers of alcohol, binge drinking, peer pressure and hazing.
