SnagFilms Acquires Worldwide Rights in All Media For Acclaimed
Documentary “All Me: The Life and Times of Winfred Rembert”

Special Online Sneak Preview on Martin Luther King Day to be Followed by Video-on-
Demand Run during Black History Month

Washington D.C. – January 12, 2012 – Today, SnagFilms announced that it has
acquired full, worldwide theatrical, television and digital rights to All Me: The Life
and Times of Winfred Rembert, a critically-acclaimed film, which tells a deeply
personal and moving story of injustice and bigotry towards African Americans
through the words and art of Winfred Rembert.

The film will have a special online “sneak preview” on Snagfilms.com on Monday,
January 16 in honor of Martin Luther King Day, where it will be available on demand
for one day only. In February, the film will premiere on cable and online video-on-
demand platforms to mark Black History Month.

A film by Vivian Ducat, produced by Ducat and Mark Urman, “ALL ME: The Life and
Times of Winfred Rembert,” preserves an important, if often disturbing, chapter in
American history. Rembert relives his turbulent life, abundantly visualized by his
extensive paintings and, in a series of intimate reminiscences, shows us how even
the most painful memories can be transformed into something meaningful and
beautiful. A glowing portrait of how an artist—and his art—are made, “ALL ME” is
also a challenging saga of race in contemporary America.

The film premiered at the 2011 Hamptons International Film Festival, followed by
screenings in the Chicago International Film Festival, where it won the Docufest
Competition’s Silver Plaque, and the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival. It has
attracted strong critical support.

Rembert’s indelible images of toiling in the cotton fields, singing in church, dancing
in juke joints, or working on a chain gang are especially powerful, not just because
he lived every moment, but because he experienced so much of the injustice and
bigotry they show as recently as the 1960s and 70s.
