SnagFilms has partnered with Indiegogo.com, the most trafficked website for film funding, to give documentary filmmakers access to more fundraising and exposure opportunities.

Select IndieGoGo works-in-progress will get featured on Snag Films. Inaugural works include:

  • Connected-- by Tiffany Shlain- Connected takes audiences on a stream-of-consciousness ride through the interconnectedness of humankind.
  • Pelotero -- by Jon Paley - A Dominican baseball story
  • Tapestries of Hope - by Michaelene Christini Risly - Two activists from two corners of the world take on a government and an urban myth to protect young girls from rape and abuse.

SnagFilms visitors can watch these works-in-progress and use IndieGoGo's DIWO (Do-It-With-Others) Filmmaking tools to support the films. This collaboration is a natural extension of SnagFilms' commitment to "filmanthropy" and its mission to support independent filmmakers and the causes their films highlight.
