We look forward to making this film available to film fans worldwide, as SnagFilms continues its rapid expansion into narrative films, and furthers its mission of bringing the best independent films – both narrative and

Directed and written by Alrick Brown, produced by Darren Dean and Tommy Oliver, and co-produced by Deatra Harris and Joshua Rodd, Kinyarwanda is based on true accounts of the Rwandan genocide, interweaving six different tales to tell the complex story of human resilience and life during the genocide. The film follows the young lovers, the child, the couple, the soldiers, the Imam, and the priest as they are swept up by the chaos of the world around them, in a story from executive producer Ishmael Ntihabose.
"The entire Kinyarwanda team is very excited to be partnering with SnagFilms on this next phase of our journey with Kinyarwanda,” stated co-producer Deatra Harris. “We believe that SnagFilms offers everything we were looking for in a distribution company
including a sincere enthusiasm for our film. We are eager to begin this process together!"
"We're thrilled to find our new home amongst SnagFilms’ cache of award-winning content. SnagFilms' dedication to our film and willingness to share our message of hope with an audience of such breadth and discrimination reaffirms our faith in our medium," stated Kinyarwanda producer Darren Dean.
