Sarah Palin, the former Vice Presidential candidate has been making news since the election, most of it not really noteworthy.  However, now there’s some Sarah Palin news that’s at least worth a little attention.  She has announced that she will resign her post as Governor of Alaska.  There hasn’t been a reason given specifically as to why she has resigned the post as Alaska Governor, but it’s rumored that she’s doing it to concentrate on being the frontrunner for the 2012 Republican Candidate, and she’s probably also looking into some instant payday loans for campaign funding.  Sarah Palin is loved by some, detested and ridiculed by others, and secured loans for a 2012 Presidential run might not be ill spent.

This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and needs to be appreciated by everyone. The above thought is smart and doesn’t require any further addition. It’s perfect thought from my side.

I was trying to give this top ratings but it stopped on two stars so if you can fix this.  I really thought this was a simple story turned in to a beautifully done documentary.  I really cared about each and every one of the people it featured.  I felt like it told all sides of the story in a way that I could empathize with both the kids and the mother.  I loved the film makers ability to capture it as a story.  Life keeps going on and knowing there is so much more to unfold in this story it felt complete as a documentary.  I also loved the editing decision to show the grandmother with her knives in her hand in the kitchen on the heels of saying she would “kill” her daughters boyfriend.  It gave me a chill, a relief and then a laugh to find out they were simply cooking together.  Really well done.  It wrapped up beautifully with her loving on her niece at the end. A sad but beautiful story.

A moving and educational documentary - a story of proud people who struggle.  La Lucha personified.  No acting here - the tears are real, the emotions felt.  A refreshing view into the real world.

Very good documentary.  It clearly shows that more than money, more than attending a private school, more than anything material, a child needs their parent’s presence, love, care, and nurturing on a consistent basis.  The kids would have been better off if she had stayed (it’s not about the material things).

Very moving documentary, I really felt for Marissa,
As a immigrant myself I know what she went through.
The choices were not many or my I say none. I think Marissa did what was better for her family by sacrificing her own happiness. Remember her kids are receiving better education than allot of kids here in the west who are growing up in single mother homes. At least Marissa’s kids were raised by loving grand parents with extended relatives. I am sure, one day her kids will understand.By giving her kids the best she could, she saved generations to come. I am really proud of her.

I loved this! I love different cultures. I really got into this doc. Although, I feel that she wanted to give up the responsibility of her kids. She wanted her freedom more. Thank you for this!
