I was a young child attending grade school in Israel when the
Yom Kippur War broke out. I had been born in the U.S., and my family moved there. This movie brought back to me so much of what it’s like to be a young child, how hard it is to process all that’s going on around you, and the particular burden that these children have. And yet, their spirits are more plastic and flexible so that maybe they can be part of the peace. Also, I’m impressed that this school continued rather than imploding from its internal conflicts.

It is one step toward peace that our children can go to the same school. Next step is in the way....

It is an idea that sounds wonderful. However as a Jew seeing those Jewish children pray to Allah made me sick. I think the Jewish parents are idiots for sending their kids to this school. I am all for after school programs that teach kids to get along. But I think the Jewish kids should be taught to be proud of their faith and their country. The Arab teacher talked alot about what was “done” to the Arabs but I never heard any mention of the attacks on Jewish women an children in markets and pizza places and even in riding in their own cars. I plan to move to Israel and raise my children as proud Israelis. This movie is JUNK!

Initially I thought this was a great idea...what better way to bring peace to the world than to teach the future generation how to co-exist. Then as the movie progressed I realized..its us idiots..adults.. that have to teach this future generation. I have to give credit to those who worked hard to bring this idea to reality but I’m not sure if human nature will allow the idea to be successful. With manipulative adults like that granny who kept on asking the child ridiculous questions [I hope the film crew wasn’t pressuring her to do so] while he was eating and that ignorant father who said he would “shoot” his daughter, we will never pave a way for an “open minded” generation.

Only option I see is to develop an education system in this school that will leave religion out of the class and to have teachers who are not from either one of the parties to teach history where they will provide an unbiased education. But then again I don’t know many in the world who don’t have an opinion towards the middle-east issue.

And finally.. its true...MEN ARE IDIOTS. I’m ashamed to admit it. we don’t always think ahead..in the long run. No wonder women live longer than men.

this film demonstrates very clearly the eternal, essential differences between men and women:  females address issues in discussion and connection with one another, while males plot physical retaliation (the father who said he would shoot his daughter if she became her own person) and military/violent action (the little boy who said they would all “have to” kill arabs when they grew up and the other little boy who said he would go in and blow up his friend’s head with a bomb) against one another.
some day the world will have to understand that the only key to a deep and lasting peace is the power of the feminine.

Great documentary.  Made me cry in some parts.  Hopefully we can turn out more and more people with open minds and free spirits.

Wow, simply wow.  This documentary is amazing, so much depth and perspective on an intense issue.  However, I feel the editing was slightly biased, but I’ll leave it to everyone else to figure out which way
