After seeing this film, it seems to me that the solution is not to close the school of the Americas, but to change it. It is presently a powerful tool, able to build up powerful leaders. That’s a good thing! (Partly!)But isn’t there any way to revamp the curiculum to teach virtue and democracy to the students instead of violence, torture, and murder? If $30 million dollars goes into it, they can’t make an excuse that they don’t have the funds to make it an awesome school to learn virtuous methods of leadership.
