After seeing this film, it seems to me that the solution is not to close the school of the Americas, but to change it. It is presently a powerful tool, able to build up powerful leaders. That’s a good thing! (Partly!)But isn’t there any way to revamp the curiculum to teach virtue and democracy to the students instead of violence, torture, and murder? If $30 million dollars goes into it, they can’t make an excuse that they don’t have the funds to make it an awesome school to learn virtuous methods of leadership.

That said, what is the half-truth in this film?  Where are the lies?

As I see it, there is too much evidence against the school.  Just this morning I read that a coup has taken place in Honduras against the nation’s democratically elected President, Manuel Zelaya.  The coup is led by Romeo Vasquez, yet another graduate of the School of the Americas.

Roy is lying where is your truth?  Where is your proof to debunk him.  As usual you spinners hate truth and justice.  You call names and never bring any proof.  He’s no longer a father?  Now that is a gross prevarication of the truth.  To many he will always be a man of his faith and justice.

Appreciate Fr. Roy, his call to be a prophet, to act on his understanding of the teaching of Jesus, his courage and leadership. Fr. Roy has brought light to a dark part of our USA history and unjust activities.

where over 200,000 Mayans were killed by troops led by officers trained by this School.

Total, unadulterated BS.  This movie is full of quibles, half-truths, and bald-faced lies.  I commanded part of the school and am greatly familiar with what it is and how it is run.  Shame on Roy (he’s no longer a father) for these lies and gross prevarications of the truth.

Great film, needs to be spread so more can see and hear. Prayers to Father Roy, and continued success and good health in his mission.

I’m not sure what I think of this-is it credible? How much of it can I believe? I gotta admit that I’m skeptical. Mabey it’s true mabey not....

Protecting democracy - BS - protecting the welathy family’s and corporate profits. Why are American tax dollars being used to continue this bloody, evil legacy under the new name “Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation”? Because we are owned—and we went meekly --not by an evangelical God, but those who will maintain their power by every means necessary.
