I find it funny that the film speaks of the impending financial doom that we’re currently experiencing. I find it sad that we’re going to bail out these financial institutions that are doing this! We just sent them 700 billion more because they have us so enslaved that we could not live without them. So when their greed finally got the best of them good ol’ GW and the folks we elected… bailed them out by sending them more of our money for free !!! When will it end? The answer as of right now looks like never!

excellent presentation of the problems assoiciated with a debt based economy - provides a clear understanding of the usury behind the debt industry - banks as loan sharks, wall street as bookies, the average citizen as chump.

Pretty good film. Should be required for all high schoolers. People are being made into slaves to the banks. And now, we taxpayers are being hit by the government using our money to bail out banks and hedge funds. This country is ruled by the elitist politicians and bankers who look out for each other. Congress, The Treasury, The Fed, and BushCo have completely failed to protect the people while giving the super wealthy our money and the money of our great grandchildren. As always, profits are privatized while costs are socialized.

What I have seen is great but I have lost my connection twice and without a fastforward feature I will have to sit through the entire film AGAIN - and I don’t have that kind of time.

I suggest you get a fast-forward feature ASAP.

So I Thought this movie was incredible. I myself am in a little debt of my own and I found myself starting a spirl towards “the end of the road.” The movie was extremly informative and hopefully raises awareness amoung the masses. Must Watch!!!

The debt crisis is certainly a problem in America, but we honestly need to point the finger at ourselves. We are the ones who enabled credit card companies to take advantage of us by spending beyond our means. Who doesn’t know that you will pay consequences for spending more than you earn?

This film took a very blase look into our national consumption trends - conveniently portraying the credit card companies as the cause, rather than facilitators, of our problems.

I was very interested in this film. It does show how important it is to manage your debt. I was reading a Loudoun Extra article from Monday, March 17, 2008 indicating that Mr. Leonsis is either a member or invested The Presidential Golf Club. How can you explain the close to $5 million that struggling contractors are owed who helped build that golf club?

This movie is great.  I plan to post it on my blog, enemyofdebt.com for my readers to watch.  Debt is a serious issue and it’s about time people start talking about it.
