Both Al Gore, and John Kerry’s campaign missed a golden opportunity with the press.  They didn’t treat the press well, and they paid a price in coverage.  The Press helped elect George Bush in 2000, and they stayed silent in 2004, which helped elect Bush again.  In 2008 they helped Obama a lot.  All I am saying is that the press plays a big role in our elections, and if I were running a campaign, I’d be feeding them hamburgers, and shakes, and would kiss they’re ### in every way possible.  It couldn’t hurt.

What a depressing film.  The campaign as presented here presented a sharp contrast to the way the Obama campaign seems to have handled things, but I suppose we won’t know for sure until that Ed Norton documentary comes out.  For me, though, the most telling part of the film was the way everyone was dismissive of Election Day itself--based on this year’s campaign I would have expected all operatives to be frantically organizing the get-out-the-vote program; where was it?

Either way, congratulations to the campaign on a job well-fought and many thanks to Steven Rosenbaum for making this available for free online.

I’ve been trying for three days to watch the video. It stops at random points throughout. This is so frustrating.

Just watched it, up until the point Bon Jovi starts playing, and then the video stops.

What the hell?

It would be great to be able to see this in entirety instead of just part 1.  Also, totally get the commercial breaks but perhaps they might appear in more natural break spots and not mid-sentence, for example.  Good progress but more work would benefit the overall product.
