this film has become one of my favorites,even though I might be a little more fortunate than these guys, I feel the same way of soccer that is the only way of living, bringing people together from different parts of the world, the laguage that you speak has no matter, as the language you only need to know is soccer.amazing work this work deserves an oscar.

-inspired movie!
This movie inspired the formation of a team in the western suburbs of Chicago.  The knowledge that ‘their home’ (an overnight shelter) has a Team makes a difference all around! 
The momentum of men who are working toward a multitude of goals - has brought pride, motivation, and an eye to the possibilities of the future for guests, as well as volunteers and staff.
We all need to stand together in this world - that’s the big message here - there’s a lot of potential good!!!

Great film.  For me, it’s not necessarily about soccer or any specific sport or activity, but about community and teamwork and helping one another.  The players in this documentary got a glimmer of the possibilities and that there are positive paths out there we can take. That glimmer for many was a spark that fueled hope, a desire to stay connected, and to keep trying to improve their situations.

This is remarkable history.  The link between soccer as a tool to change lives is amazing. Truly inspiring work.
