This is a beautiful film. Thank you NGO for all the wonderful, beautiful, and informative films and programs you give to the world. Millions of us have only you as our eyes so we can witness these most majestic sights. What a beautiful world we have............. let’s all do our part to pass it on to future generations. Thank You National Geographic. Posted 10/16/09 by Debbie
Thank you so much. I am a lover of the earth and all the animals there in. I hurt for a land, animals and a time that has past. I ache for those plants and creatures that my granchildren will never know. The lush natural beauty that so many will never see. God’s wonderful nature is being distroied by the most intellegent creature that he made to care for and nuture it. Posted 10/18/08 by Josh
Thank you for this gift. For your research. For your passion. I spent 2 weeks in Alaska last Sept 2008. I fell in love with the temperate Rain forest, wilderness, the land and those those great and small that call it home. I am saddened and yes I am angry that these lands that were protected for many years have been recently opened for roads. Those roads to be used for logging. As one of you so elegantly put it. The arrogance of one generation to make a decision of the fate of these forests is astounding and perverse. The gift of these lands belong to our children children and their children. To the spirit bears cubs, black bears, the grizzles, the salmon, the wolves pups. Citizens of the World. Go green. Do not consume old growth forest. Let them stand.... I implore you ..... Let them stand.
