Good film. I’m glad I finally got to see it. And some of these women have really amazing stories. Makes me want to check out more vintage footage on You Tube. There was some excellent action in those matches from the fifties.

I enjoy this greatly, to be able to get a look at how it was and started for women in wrestling.

The wrestling women back then brought in the crowd, but sadly they were lucky to make a decent weeks pay. While this is entertainment for some,it’s a cash crop for the greedy bastards that step on others to get ahead. Also, the ladies that got into this business should have realized this. Did they find fortune and fame? Sure, some did, but it’s like any other business from music to movies, etc.

Today you still have lady wretlers. The one site I like is ultimatesurrender.com. It is an adult site that’s not for everyone, but it’s more bondage and dominance wrestling matches between lesbians. Sorry folks, I’m a skeevy pig and I’m not going to change. God bless the Constitution of America!

This was EXCELLENT....a must watch for true wrestling fans! I loved it and was totally hooked to every minute and word of the film. I have a whole new respect for woman wrestlers.

If you grew up in the 50’s and 60’s,you just may have seen these woman wrestle. It was new and fascinating to watch them then. The former women wrestlers that were interviewed for this film provide deep insight of the perils of wrestling, the conflicts in their lives and how they survived in a world fraught with duplicity and hucksterism. These woman now provide us with fascinating portraits of dynamic personalities and indefatigable characters. A worthwhile film, well done.
