Playfulness, perversity and innocence in equal measure: this film is a time capsule of that great golden era of tolerance and excess. Posted 07/25/09 by Weezer

terrific. just great. Posted 06/24/09 by Bo Howe
Great film. Its chaotic texture and setting reminds me of the novel “The Crying of Lot 49” by Thomas Pynchon. Both are loaded with eccentric individuals who, as it turns out, are oddly connected. Funny that it would be denounced as both pro-communist and pro-capitalist - a sure sign of its richness and depth. Perhaps it’s a cultural Rohrshach test of sorts. |
