After watching other well-made documentaries about the infathomable and ruthless practices of corporate and political America, this falls right in line. AMAZING what the human race is doing to our world and, therefore, itself. Thanks you so much for posting these for those of us who would rather be informed than just go on with our heads in the sand while we are slowly killing ourselves, our children, our grandchildren, etc. Look into sustainable farmers!!!

A hard hitting documentary that should be viewed by everyone who eats. We have known for years that farmers had been run over by Agri-conglomerates.  This shows just how busy they’ve been with no regard for human beings. The ironic thing is they need humans to purchase their wares yet totally disregard our health.  This is what happens when greed is blinding.

I had no idea how bad things have gotten. What have we done? How will this affect future generations?  Amerika should be ashamed!

I really would have loved to see this film.  As an American export to the UK, I am constantly explaining to european friends about how processed US food has become. 

A pity it’s not available for play from the UK.  I would have liked to share this on my blog but most of my readers are british.

Corporations should not be allowed to patent living things. It is criminal that farmers can no longer save and re-use their own seeds.In the end, total corporate control of food production will be the death of us.

David Hoffman works for Monsanto. He is a corporate paid liar. Note the misspelling and he says “power, honor, decency” to describe them? Odd choice of words david. Or whoever you are.

Much as she tries to be fair, this documentary filmmaker isn’t.  She underplays the fact that tens of millions of people, new people on the planet as our planet grew in size, could survive and eat because of these chemicals.  No doubt there are negatives.  But the power, on honor, and the decency of the people who did this work is ignored by this filmmaker.  She acts as though her POV presents the “facts.” For the most part, it doesn’t.

Anyone who found this film to be astounding and educational should also read Barbara Kingsolver’s book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle.

Of course eating is our most favorite past time. Every body loves to eat (except to those people that are suffering from anorexia). THe problem goes back to the original absurd law allowing patenting of “genes”. Once this law was instituted the likes of Monsanto, read: greed, could trod over life itself. Indeed, “acts of god"--the wiund blowing seeds into a field--become liabilities. Disgusting. The fear, that reasonable patent laws might discourage research is absurd.

Interesting but full of convienent half truths and conterparies oversights. they have taken an isolated community to represent the whole. plus I personaly give the research and development profession only a moderate confident as more panic accomplishment, this method is used to gain more money and grants for research. most people never keep in mind although the world has the needed the resourses to feed the multitudes only an isolated few contries have the commitment to try. where communism and socialism has never worked or accomplished significant world benefits capitalism has managed to produce two of the largest forces greed and over the bourder stimulation. both monsters and both salvation. There are some things in this video that are misleading or inaccurate. there are many non GMO seeds available. However when you have higher taxes pushed by Socialalist like President elect Obama and his non change goverment officials that he is assembling. Then you have interest due on the land, equipment, as well as the fuel, fertilizer, and seed it is almost impossible not to use what will produce the greatest harvest. Often these prices go up after the crop is in the land.

Oh God, It hurts so much to see a farmer like Percy suffer so much at the hands of Monsanto and their USA government cohorts.  My feeling is of course to support local farmers, and I would personally like to see Ashcroft, Rumsfield, Bush, and Monsanto elite charged with crimes against humanity.  I hope nations hold tight against this onslaught, and one by one by one the American people gain knowledge and power of choice to eradicate this menace to life as we knew it.
