In celebration of Black History Month, SnagFilms is proud to curate a weekly slate of films commemorating and informing the African-American experience, from the past to the present. Throughout February, we will present four different film series highlighting topics like the fight for civil rights and the continuing legacy of jazz.
Our last film series explores The African-American Experience Today. Films in this series take a hard look at health crises in the African-American community and spotlight the realities of race and economics in America. You'll also discover the amazing story of a unique pen pal program that connected children from Brooklyn, New York and Sierra Leone. Enjoy!
