  What I enjoyed here was the rawness and the way one felt as if you were there gloriously riding atop your two wheel metal steed into artistic battle. A used bowling trophy goes to the champion, a possible ride in a ambulance,or a tumble onto filthy urine enriched mattresses greets the loser. In this 21st century answer to jousting, chivalry is not dead as all who partake are hugged and invited to sup on a full course of human vices and just pure craziness. Man that IS what you call living.!These people are experiencing life at full throttle.They know they have a limited amount of time before the corporate media vampires quietly spring their digital fangs, and suck whatever originality flows from their movement. Against the background of the eminent re-election of Bush the beauty of this art is revealed in its crash and burn moments.Indeed as the world champion sits mere inches from a glowing red hot exhaust system, belching out roaring flames,he roars down the street and crosses into legend. Tony captures this world beautifully.The myriad of colorful individuals who inhabit the B.I.K.E landscape are very real and depending on your mindset may intrigue or repel you. I highly recommend to watch this creative circus of honest, comical, dramatic.blah blah blah. Sooo..Stop reading my award writing comments and watch it now! For Jaundice sake its FREE YA CHEEP !#@! CREEPS!! I will borrow a quote from the doc "I'll hunt you down and make you eat your own face" Yes my friends that and all sorts of worm murderous,happy fun sights and tasty crunching sounds await you...enjoy...or die its your choice.

  started watching...open to watching all but 1st thing i get is "trend and contradiction". girl during intro says "this isn't for the media...this isn't for the rest of the country"...the question remains "then why do a documentary?" that is a form of mainstream media regardless of how many people see it. so far it just sounds like hippie gangs. plus, i'm not knocking anyone for being "different" so long as it's genuine but Tony kind of sounds like an idiot...son. the world needs weird. i know this and i love it. what i don't respect is trend, conformity (mainstream and counter-culture) and the practice of just "trying too hard". plus the claim that these kids are "victims" is just ridiculous.

  Listen to the nasty judgmental higher-than-thou right wingers who think they have a right to rules the world free from any people different from them. Sorry kiddies, but we defeated that concept in WW2. These kids may be different to you, and a little messy in their motivations and lifestyles, but at least their message and mission in life isn’t hate and violence - as it is clearly that of some of you.

  Oh it's real. I hang with bike gangs in LA. The shame of this is that it is again a New York film about a bunch of boho's from, as they admit, middle class art schools. They claim to be making a statement about their individuality, but must do so as a group. If the film was about the Minneapolis club, or even the Rat Pack out of Chicago, you'd see a lose organization of bike fanatics, enjoying mutual pursuits. Not a film about a few self centered egotists. That is not to say that everyone in the club and on the film are, but I kind of think the founder in Minneapolis was correct in having the film represent their society. It doesn't. But everything gets reinterpreted with growth, just look at the tea party. I choose to remain unencumbered with a tag that labels me as anything. I am a freethinker, and have strength in my individuality. Get right with yourself, then you can be happy.

  No wonder nobody takes the anti-war movement seriously. They're a bunch of freaks with no regard for the law or respect for their fellow man. I went to an anti-war protest down in D.C., and they were more interested in converting people to veganism and showing off their facial piercings than the war.
