I’m pretty sure I know who it is that posted that under the name Rescue, as soon as i read it, unmistakable. yes he sounds like a giant prick, not much I can say to defend that. but welcome to nyc. honestly though, this is the kind of unyeilding pride most of the special units feel about our dept. whether they admit it or not, you can’t describe it until you’ve been here and lived it.

Scott: Rescue you see is one of them special firemen, he obviously belongs to an elite Rescue company in the FDNY....I am amazed that he could be, with a head that big I am amazed he fits in the man-door at the firehouse much less a confined space, or trying to work a man-under job....just sayin.

Rescue, whatever was on that DVD, you just murdered and vomited upon with your diatribe. Excellent job, even those of us who respect (or even have family members retired from R3) the FDNY are sickened by your holier than thou scribblings.

I may not be a member of the FDNY, but I am a proud Union Fireman, and I take pride in what I do, and accept that I am a NY transplant in the midwest that does pretty well with three-man engines and 4 man trucks. I and while we do not have a nearly inexhaustable supply of companies (only Box 55-8087 came close to exhausting it all), we do seem to keep structures from burining to foundations much like my brothers from the northeast do.

So before you go somewhere else and regurgitate your filth, try to keep in mind that there are thousands of us who do believe in brotherhood so much so that we actually practice it.
