The old bullfighter, Dominguin was honored and safely in retirement when a new star appeared in the bull ring, the young bullfighter, Ordonez. A protégé of the writer, Ernest Hemingway, Ordonez fought so brilliantly that Dominguin was challenged to come out of retirement and meet him in a mano-a-mano at Malaga.
This film, Bullfight at Malaga, produced by Robert Drew and photographed by Richard Leacock, records what happened when the two greatest matadors tried to outdo each other in what became known as "The Bullfight of the Century."
