  @Dav Eka: Good thing Wahhabi followers are only a small sect of Islam, concentrated mainly in our GOOD ALLY (heh!), Saudi Arabia...maybe we should've attacked THEM? They do pay to create the overwhelming majority of Wahhabi mosques throughout the middle east! And good thing Taqyya is considered disgraceful without justification and only tolerable under threat of serious harm or death to yourself or immediate family, so we can go ahead and ask Muslims anything we want about your claims and expect honest answers unless we threaten them directly. I must confess, I'm no expert (but then, neither are you, apparently!)...but 18th century Wahhabi seemed convinced that Islam needed to be strengthened and purged of weak elements within it, and wasn't focused on returning it to some "glory days" of the 7th century. (I mean, he wasn't even THERE!...by about 11 centuries or so...) There's a bunch of crazies with blond hair and blue eyes who believe in the superiority of their genes to multicultural ones. There's at least one or two of them in Norway, should we start bombing them now? Or do white people not scare you as much?

  Who do you think went to Iraq and sold Apache helicopters to Hussein within weeks of the gassing of the Kurds? Who do you think supplied Saddam Hussein with millions of dollars in food aid during the 25 yr. was with Iran while at the same time supplying Iran with satellite images of Iraq?Which corporations sold night vision goggles to which side? And what US corporations have profited from the sale of inadequate flack jackets to US forces? Look it up. We have met the enemy ...and made a lot of money off of them. And used the bodies of our own young men and women to hide the truth of where our profits have led us.

  I found it ironic when the talking head says the terrorists display videos of their murders -- right after the killporn segment of the gun-camera footage of the apache blowing 3 men apart. The talking head then goes on to say that the terrorists post their videos in an attempt to intimidate the enemy. ORLY? There's hypocrisy all over. But the bottom line is that it's the US that engaged in an offensive war under false pretenses. Where are the WMDs? WHERE ARE THE WMDS?

  Wow, I am amazed at the effective suicide wishes of the western left and muslim apologists. Make no mistake, Al-Queda is not fighting because of Israel/ Palestine or US in the Mideast. They are fighting to avenge the crusades! Wahhabi Islam is fighting to return the world to the perfection of 600AD! Yes, Islam is the religion of peace; peace defined as 'everyone is muslim'. Your ONLY other alternatives are slavery (dhimmi), or justice (death of ANY non-believer). Look it up in the Koran you ignorant tools. Just don't ask a muslim about it because of Al Taqyya, which another critical concept of islam you ignorant left tools have never heard about. Here is the acid test; if Islam is so hunky-dory, and the West sucks so bad, why not move to the enlightned centers of the earth such as Damascus, or Beirut? Or even vacation there? As someone who has worked for years across the Mideast, I can say you left-wing tools have NO IDEA of the danger Wahhabi Islam presents to the western world. Here is another little tidbit: I would wager 99% of you left tools have no idea what Wahhabi even means, let alone some of the other islamic terms and concepts mentioned above. Typical left tools: Just because you know nothing about a topic doesn't mean you can't loudly declaim the wrongness of those with whom you disagree.

  So what's the deception of America that the title of the film implies. Of course we know the American public was lied to by Bush and Co. The host is just parroting BS. Any half intelligent person can challenge his assertion and even downright debunk them.

  The introduction could just as easily apply to China, but it is not as opportune politically for the right to focus on this. The corporate lap dogs could never allow any serious discussion of that situation. Making films about Muslims is easy, it caters to the Christian right and helps to gather votes. Real, serious discussion is next to impossible with any of these groups. Just like discussing Jews with hard care Nazi's would have been impossible in 1938. The bizarre thing is this new generation of religious hate mongers try to use the images from the Holocaust to portray their perceived enemy. In fact, these right wingers are the closest things to Nazi's on the planet right now.

  What’s this got to do with the price of tea in China? Last I heard Saddam was dead, has he suddenly come back from the grave? All of the WMD “evidence” was cherry picked BS from intelligence sources loyal to Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld. Not from George Tenet and the CIA, both of which disagreed with Dick’s pals findings. Don't take my word for it, watch the videos. Unlike Fox, or CNN, PBS has no political allegiance. Quick poll, who will we invade next? Now that Libya is on the auction block they look pretty good. Only 25% of their territory has been surveyed for oil. I think we will have to let Great Britain take that since we grabbed Iraq. But there is still Iran and now Syria and Pakistan. It’s a Middle East fire-sale and there is no way we won’t get involved. Well I’ll just watch the mainstream news and see which one gathers the most propaganda. Everyone knows no matter how much they beg us for a war, North Korea is screwed because they just don’t have any oil. Besides we’re a little busy right now and time is money. We have to get those folks out of Afghanistan and ready to invade for the next big democratic charade. Iran is looking best in my opinion, since they are spoon feeding China's expansion. It's a win/win. We get the oil, while denying it to China. Wait a second. Does anyone still believe that even though we make hundreds of billions of dollars of corporate dollars through oil and war, that this somehow has anything to do with democracy? The scary part is we won’t fall for another spin like Iraq. Some of us anyway. So like the testing of the waters in Libya, our government won’t be asking permission from our “representatives”. In short you are no longer controlling squat, you haven’t been for a decade. Once we are mired in with troops, they’ll spin the teary eyed democratic apple pie BS and enough of you folks will buy into it through guilt.I'd rather we hold our representatives accountable, but that requires facing the truth. Cheer up! It doesn't suck being the Romans, it just sucks to be everyone else. By all means lets conquer all those barbarians (with oil), to bring them democracy, McDonalds and cable TV.

  I can't believe that people actually bought into this montage of images. How do you feel now American citizen? Your country is going bankrupt because of wars like these. If you really feel that the Iraqis love us so much for liberating them, then you should go live there and see how many will embrace you. Those factions over there have been at each others throats forever. All we did in Iraqi was strengthen the Iranian sponsored factions and Iran itself. Great strategic thinking by the Neocons. The bottom line is we should not be the world's policemen. Also we can't be the world's policemen because we are broke. Ironically enough another reason we are broke is because of the sponsor of this video Goldman Sachs.

  What a load of bull. Sure Saddam Hussein wasn't a nice guy, but who kept him in power? He wasn't so evil when he was gassing the Iranians now was he? even when he gassed the Kurds the US media didn't say anything about it at the time it was happening. It was 10 years later that they kept talking about it to justify the 1st Gulf War. This documentary is utter crap. They talk about outcomes, but not what lead people there. Who was it that trained Bin Laden when he was fighting the Soviets.This is all blowback, and we have yet to see the consequences of the Iraq war. All this military adventurism seems to back fire, and yet these chicken hawk neocons keep repeating the same crap. The fact that they had to throw in the holocaust a the start of the documentary, should be a clue how they want you to think. Myopic, stupid and typical right wing propaganda.

  Actually this is the Iraq I remember. I was there four years and it was just like this. This documentary is a highly accurate portrayal of Iraq.   I often hope that some other country will liberate our own country (the US) for we have horrifying things happening to people right here in our own country. I would also point out that the reason we attacked Iraq was because of the threat of terrorism by WMD. A number of those who were treated brutally by Sadams regiem were infact terrorists that threatened his power and the stability of his country. Not that they deserve to be tortured, but that the middle east is a violent area and has been for centuries.

  The problem is the reason we were told we must invade Iraq was not because saddam was terrorizing his own people.It was because we were told he had all these WMD's,which he didn't.There are evil dictators all over this world.What are we suppose to do invade all these countries?I don't think so.We need to look out for and take care of our own people.We are not the worlds policeman,even though that is exactly what sheriff George Bush thinks.He is wrong.

  Great Film. How about more like this. I love to watch people beating and killing eachother - just like you. Good Christians like you would never do anything like that with the exception of those people that were tortured at Guantanamo or Abu Ghraib but of course they were only Muslims.
