I happen to watch this magnificent film, “Churning the Sea of Time,” last night, after reading Nick Kristoff’s two chilling recent columns in the New York Times about sexual slavery in Cambodia. I was so impressed that the director, Les Guthman, quoted earlier writings by Kristoff on sexual predators in Phnom Penh in “Churning the Sea of Time,” which was made two years ago. And then, in this Southeast Asia journey, he takes us to the fabulous ruins at Angkor. What a great film.
