  Thank You for the knowledge that you have laied uponme. Sadly I am at work and the volum on this computer is low and can not be changed so I hope my question do not upset you. I am a man of limited funds is it possible to convert my Mark v111, to a grease car or can this only be done with a dieasel engine? If so what is the cost? do you know of any location on the north shore of Massachuseet that I can have this system added to my car. am I correct that I can have my gar run on either grease or gasoline?

  Thanks for the film. It may help enable me to make a good decision regarding using biofuel. Today I drove a 1999 VW TDI New Beetle 132 miles on 2 gallons of diesel fuel. I was in Los Angeles traffic for about 30 minutes of stop and go on the freeway. The remainder of the miles went by with cruise set to 65. The AC was on. Why don't more people drive turbo diesel injected VWs? I just bought the used car two weeks ago and am looking into using biofuel. Seems the right thing to do. Though if everyone used biofuel, it might not be sustainable. Before that happens though, someone will figure out how to build better electric storage for cars that we can charge at home.

  Vegetable oil comes from - vegetables. It takes 51 calories to produce 1 calorie of food (vegetable yield), growing, processing and transporting that food with petroleum products. Expressing oil requires a large volume of canola/soy/peanuts, so at the end of the day, this is an extraordinarily unsustainable fuel source. It might, however, be a good "intermediate" fuel while we work on solar/electric energy technologies. Just something to think about.

  I think it's a great idea. Why haven't we converted to vegetable oil sooner? it's cleaner and it's more convenient. You have some right in your own home. No having to go down to the gas station to fill her up. The biggest problem is what the conversion costs. You need some quantity of clean oil for the spark plugs to cause an explosion to drive the pistons up. How do they do that? If anybody out there knows please respond.
