Lorenzo Semple and Marcia Nasatir are the octogenarian odd couple of film criticism.  Yet long before the Reel Geezers opined on movies, they created them.  Lorenzo Semple wrote Broadway plays and the television series, “Batman,” before scripting movies for Hollywood stars including Robert Redford, Steve McQueen, and Dustin Hoffman.  His friend and foil Marcia Nasatir, a longtime literary agent, pioneered the industry as one of the first female vice presidents of a major studio.  Executive producer of many films including “Hamburger Hill” and “The Big Chill,” she aims to make at least one more film before calling it quits.  Amusing and erudite, their repartee reveals an acute understanding of film and provides us with the freshest, oldest voices on the film critic scene.
