  To disagree with the religious,is to slam the door in your own face.Why?Well each believes that he is right, sees,knows,prays to the one true god.By the 6th grade in catholic school,I asked the nun,"Sister,if Jesus were here,wouldn't he sell all of the GOLD in the church and feed the poor,and hungry?BE SILENT ! was my answer.All the original sin,we are being tested,and we will be shown,answers are moot.Since the first six people looked up at the sun in awe,and one pointed and said,the sun brings light,heat,grows our food,and is god.And the other five started listening to him,religion started.One ruled five,and it grew,and it grew.Then five ruled 100,then 500.The religions got powerful and rich,hand and hand with the Rulers they grew,some brilliant men and women came and went,some knowledge came and went or was buried.Some said the world was round and got burned up.Some found it an easy way to rule the masses,the uneducated,the ones who needed it,needed a god,a friend,needed love.But by NOW,"some"humans know ,that every star, in the night sky could represent,100 billion galaxies,containing 100 billion stars/suns each.THAT,is what we are a part of,this very second.WE are the universe,inside and out.That man and the earth has only been here for the last couple of seconds,yet we have ALL of the answers.And a story book,written long after a really smart MAN was killed,by some selfish, jealous ,religious leaders who feared his simple truths.Again,one pointed and said "look god" and again 2000 years later the same kinds of people flock,for the same reasons.They found a god again.They build temples to their gods,have wars over them.You can kill if it's for god,it's not a sin.Who said that? The pope?And these people who vomit this stuff,quoting stories/gospels like it is from gods lips to their ears,well to them it is,I guess.Jesus this Luke that,Mathew this,vomit,vomit,vomit.And you will truly learn and know him,everybody is a preacher,they read it like they wrote it.It is stifling if you are NOT one of them,and it seems so little compared to the universe that these people are a part of,hay that what you want,knock yourself out,Just stay far away from me.Go say a Rosery or two for the poor in China.Then do a Novina for the vegetarians of Peru.Pray till your tongue gets numb.Enjoy yourself,and may your god bless you all.

  I wonder what real good is ever accomplished writing stuff like I just read below. I see what appears to be strong desire to 'protect' the truth, but I wonder if it is not really the desire to be heard? Do you two men not have a group to which you belong where all these emotions can be played out and processed? I used to do what you have done here and look back now with sadness. The (protestant?) person slams the catholic person in such a way that his truth is hiden by his anger. The Catholic person was able to contain some of their emotion, but in an electronic world, how will these two ever truly learn from one another. How much is God really glorified by such activity? Is it not better to follow Jesus example of personal interaction? If we encounter a man who is caught up in his wealth or self-righteousness, why not "look at him and love him" as did the Master with the rich yong man in St. Matthew's Gospel account? You have to be present to someone to look at them and love them. I commend you both for your zeal, and wish you the best journey toward truth and love possible ...as it was (and is!) lived out in the life of Jesus ...OUR Lord.

  Mr. Manual: Referring to Catholicism as "paganism" is simply misguided for it is not such. #1: Dead men and women (aka the Saints) are not "gods," because they hold no comparison to God. Catholics believe that the (departed) Saints are in communion with God in Heaven and with mankind on Earth. Catholics do not "pray" to righteous Saints, as one would to God; rather, Catholics request the prayers of Saints to intercede to the Lord on behalf of the living (cf. James 5: 16). Catholics view this relationship as a convenantal familial relationship as is found throughout the Bible (cf. Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses, David, and Jesus Christ). We believe that this convenantal relationship is given to all mankind in order for the preservation of faith and obedience to God's will in our lives. Try perhaps reading 1 and 2 Maccabees for guidance on this ancient doctrine, because your Bible might be missing these books. #2: Catholics do read the Bible, despite your claims. Sacred Scripture is read at EVERY Mass. Bible study is also promoted in our faith. Catholics have and will continue to "research where [their] faith really stands" not in the words of articles written by dissenters, but in the unifying Bible. You may fail to see them now, but the Bible contains enumerable support for Catholic doctrines (*when read in their proper contexts*). #3: To say Catholicism is "killing Christianity" is simply bigoted/predjudiced. Catholics also do not distance man from God (for instance, cf. the Catholic doctine on the Eucharist). Like other Christians, Catholics do good in the world. Look around you. #4: Your commentary on the interpretation of Sacred Scripture is the real paradox here. You openly condemn the interpretation of scripture by "some other guys" (aka the Magisterium of the Church) and this is where things become most prudent in Catholicism. Lead by the Holy Spirit, the Catholic Church is commissioned via its hierarchy to preserve its teachings handed down through the centuries all the back to Christ and His apostles. If the Church promoted "personal/convictional" interpretation of the Scriptures then there would be no unity. You cannot dismiss this reality epitomized in the many denominations of Protestant-"Reformed" Christianity. Open your eyes to the divisiveness around you. To this point, you yourself interpret Exodus 20:1-7 impulsively, out of context. I do NOT stand for bigotry, nor the perpetuation of misconceptions; neither should you, Sir.

  I'm not going to encourage this paganism. Why are you praying to dead men & women who are false gods? There's only Jesus Christ who can save us from this world of sin. Catholics are not letting Jesus accomplish what he died for ages ago, instead they continue the faithlessness of seeking out an equation to feel better about themselves. We are all dead unto this world until we confess Jesus as the only way, truth and life to our Salvation. Please, stop misleading yourselves and actually read the Bible for yourself. God doesn't want us to act like robot drones listening to what some other guy thinks about the Bible. You're not stupid! The almighty Savior commands us to each read and question His ultimate truth, so that we may grow deeper in our spiritual journey walking with the Lord. I advise researching where your faith really stands through reading such articles as these, Praying to the Saints: A Dangerous Practice - just for catholics org | or actually evangelizing to the lost. Believe me, supporting the practice against abortion is not all you can do. Be motivated by the Holy Spirit who lives in your hearts & not some cultured habit which denies the very work that saved your souls. Catholicism is killing Christianity because of the distance it brings between you & God. Again, why are you still relying on other men & women to communicate your important relationship to the Father? Wake up from your mislead structure of slumber! Exodus 20:1-7 "And God spoke all these words, saying, 2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 3 “You shall have no other gods before [1] me. 4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands [2] of those who love me and keep my commandments. 7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain."   I have personally met the Archbishop Timothy Broglio. Some of his family members are parishioners with me. What an amazing family. What an honor to see his experience captured in this wonderful documentary about the Vatican. God Bless everyone who dedicated their time, faith, and love to bring it to us.

  I am immpressed and will buy this movie to show my family, friends, and prayer groups members. I will also pray to Saint Carlos (Charlie) Manuel for a little child "Agustino" 6 years old and cannot speak yet. Because "With God nothing is immpossible"
