  This piece offers a great statement to those living with all disabilities. In this case, a fatal affliction causes immediate refocusing of life's meaning. Scott makes this transition seemingly easily, and with humor and truth and insight. God bless Scott and Ann, and his parents, friends, and other support. This is truly a journey of a lifetime for them. I hold them up in prayer and suggest you do the same. This is real life, everyone. Life doesn't occur in a bubble, and it doesn't always occur under the delusion that we are in charge. We don't need to have a wake-up call like ALS to benefit from a refocusing of our lives. In Scott's words and trademark humor (from als-mda.org profile) "I also have a deeper appreciation for things ... although if possible I would recommend people discover these life insights on their own without contracting ALS." Thank you for making this documentary available. Any updates on Scott's status would be appreciated.

  I went to school with Scott's Dad Mike, when he heard I had ALS he sent me a link to Living With Lew. The movie is entertaining and inspirational. I hope I have the courage be as strong and wise as Scott and Ann and live the remainder of my life with grace and joy. Myna Rose

  An inspirational story beautifully told. Chronicles the brave fight of a young man and his wife to accept as brutal a medical diagnosis as life can offer, and yet to live life to the fullest, day by day and step by step, for as long and as well as they can.
