It is a fact that the great Louis Armstrong loved his marijuana. Satcmo would insist that all of his musicians get high before every recording session, and he would preach to them in great detail how weed helps a musician to concentrate and play better.Armstrong smoked weed daily throughout his life, and it was legal for many years while he toured until the mid 1930s. In fact, Armstrong wanted to name his autobiography “Gage”, which is another term for marijuana. His agent stole the book and told satchmo that his career would be sunk if it was released.Nonetheless,he was and still is an american treasure. Here’s to the great Satchmo !!!!!!Peace out..................... |
