  Having read HP Lovecraft since I was 11 years old I found this movie to be wonderfully informative. It is interesting to see so many film makers and writers loved his stories. I am sure that others who know about Lovecraft know of the stories that were built upon the Cthulhu Mythos by August Derleth and Robert Bloch. Each of these writers had success in their own careers, but their work along with others really built upon the foundations that Lovecraft started. Great movie! Thanks!

  For all fans of Herbert Philips Lovecraft or just horror in general I recommend this fantastic documentary. it's both goes into depth of his mythos, various opinions and even his life. he was truly a troubled man.

  I am so pleased with this one...i cannot get enough of Lovecraft or anything Lovecraft related. This was a really well-done documentary and for anyone interested in The Old Gentleman from Providence it should be a pleasure to watch. Informative and it was also interesting to hear what the directors & authors had to say about their own experiences with HP's works. Let's cross our fingers for Guillermo, and say a little prayer that more more more wonderful Lovecraftian entertainment is created. :-) Gods Bless HP Lovecraft!

  Great documentary.Saw many horror films such as From Beyond,In the Mouth of Madness,Prince of Darkness etc, and never realised that they were heavily inspired by Lovecraft until i read the great man himself....fantastic!

  Really fascinating and well-done film. I've been a Lovecraft fan since I was fifteen, and although I didn't necessarily learn anything new here, I found it illuminating to look at his work through the eyes of other writers and storytellers, especially the ones who are so obviously fans themselves. Made me want go down to the library and pull out the dusty tomes....

  Is this some kind of elaborate hoax or just really bad web site? I click play and get the Amer Exp ad and then the film pauses. If I click play again all I get is the Amex Exp ad again and it again pauses. It never plays the film, just the ad over and over again. If I let it be it just sits there paused doing nothing, the film never starts up. I'm not sure about fear, but the film is certainly unknown after this mess.

  The Cthulhu mythos inspired me to generate my own mythology, shared in my Pazuzu trilogy and short stories. Lovecraft fans have ragged on me because I've said Lovecraft's work inspired me - principally because I don't write in his style or perpetuate the original mythos. Diehard Lovecraft fans bring their own inflexible expectations and don't seem to understand or accept I never intended to copy the great and late-appreciated author, which is unfortunate. I believe they, and any lover of pulp fantasy-science fiction-horror, would enjoy my bleak story of a godless world at war, invaded by alien gods. Check out my story at http://pazuzu.yolasite.com/
