In 1985, Apple aired the commercial Macintosh the Computer for the Rest of Us offering the general public the possibility of using computers in their homes for the first time. MacHeads follows the story of the Macintosh community and its unconditional devotion to Apple Inc. For them the Mac was not just a machine - it came with a social movement, a whole community which believed they were going to change the world. MacHeads is a feature length documentary that explores the loyalty of Apple Fanatics and their obsession. The film takes an in-depth examination of just what makes the Mac, the iPhone, and Apple's other products seem like cultural phenomena rather than just consumer electronics.

How quickly things become outdated. Like the guy at the end of the film said, for one, it should have been recorded in HD. This is the 3rd or 4th Mac/Apple related documentary I've seen, and it's probably the least interesting of them all. Still, I watched it to the end, even with the bottom portion of the picture cut off by snag films along with the occasional commercial. I might mention I've been using a Mac since 1986. So, despite how I feel about this particular documentary, I could still relate to a lot of it and I'll never use any other platform as long as the Mac is around. In fact I'm watching this on a MacBook Air (11") in bed. Now I'm going to shut up.

Well, yeah, I'm a Mac User since 1991, so this spoke to me. I'll use Macs until there are no more Macs to use.
