Stem Cell Research, both on embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells will treat and cure millions of people.  But it will take time. 

The Wright brothers invented the plane in 1903, but it took 24 more years before Lindberg crossed the Atlantic.  Maturing great inventions takes time.

The millions of people who die from heart failure, diabetes complications, and spinal cord injuries each year deserve the best science can offer, and if it takes 24 years to get there, it will still be worth it to them, their families and society.

One stem cell line generated from one single embryo donated by a couple with full informed consent will change millions of peoples lives for the better.  It is going to happen, and it will be a good thing given us to by a generous God.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! Dr. Jack Kessler’s research has really touched me personally and I am so thankful for all his efforts. I was not going to watch this program at all but the second I noticed that it was all about Dr. Kessler’s research I couldn’t stop watching. People see others with disabilities and they may notice them as I did before my accident but what they fail to notice is that those individuals with disabilities are people who have lived lives of their own. They are human being with experiences and memories. More importantly, they are people who struggle on a regular basis to live lives that are as normal as possible while also staying positive about the future and what it may offer. We need champions like Dr. Kessler and I got a bit emotional watching this video because the way he spoke really meant something to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Kessler.

Dear Ms. Martyr, It’s your choice.  Tell me you would still think that way if your own child’s life depended on the results of that research.  Today people have “donor cards” (should there be a needy recipient)that give the Medical community a chance to help another person to survive.  If you read the article carefully, you would see that there is no need to “destroy-a-life” to save another.  The technology is there now with the patient’s own blood to work with.  But “Big Business Pharma Companies” want to squash that.  Just like the guy that invented the “pill in the gas tank with water to run your car” You see what the Oil Companies did to him, - bought the patent - then squashed it!
Ms.Martyr, if you want to see a sin, - look at the curruption of big business “killing inocent people” by seeking more profitable teatments and DRUGS more than the average family can afford.  Of course, don’t forget the polititians who “sleep” with them to keep their cause of “profit and saving jobs” a priority.  This leaves us with one question: HOW MUCH IS A LIFE WORTH?  And if you do decide to “depart” this earth for your cause, - FILL OUT A DONOR CARD!
