If I could go see a movie, any movie, with this wonderful pair of geezers it would be the first movie I’ve seen at a theater in over 7 years. Movie going has lost all its charm for me: the cost, the hassle, the hype, no toilet breaks. I’m now a crotchety old geezer of 48, but Marcia and Lorenzo actually make a trip to the cinema sound fun again. I’d find it priceless the opportunity to discuss whatever film we’d just seen with two intelligent, informed, sensitive, curious, eloquent veterans of the absurd film industry. They don’t hardly ever agree on what is a good movie but somehow seem to be in perfect agreement on what is good movie making. I was convinced they are a married couple close to their 60th anniversary. No? Well, that’s Hollywood.
