  I admit this was a slow documentary but it was also good...actually great. I too was bored after the 1st 5min into it wondering the same thing...where's the cars and flashy things? That was the whole point of the stories mentioned in this doc. No1 went down that route letting the money go to their heads. Curtis was the only acception...but some of his faults also came from bad investments. I love this documentary b/c usually when you watch stuff like this...the winners go buy all types of flashy things and go broke within the next cpl years. These people played it smart. Exspecially loui...only 5mill. and it lasted for over 20 years....great job and excellent documentary.

  I listened for five minutes, heard no mention of any lottery, and clicked off. Sorry, this is more boring than watching grass grow.

  YOU would lose everything like all the others Have " CURTIS" This shows that these "more then average" people are already happy, . They are already are happy and will better the lives of their children instead of pissing it away on material items like you would,,thinking you are happy until you realize your new friends are all gone when you run out of cash and buying then material things. Money does not make you happy.MONEY BRINGS OUT THE WORSE of PEOPLE! NOT THESE PEOPLE! ..........THAT is the entire point of the story. Watch it again! These are the people that would feed you when you are down and out! You MUST be from the me me me generation

  This was a depressing documentary. No one made any real changes in their lives. I actually thought this was more about farm life than about life after winning the lottery! Sorry, I could not sit through this as it was very sad to see the people living very humdrum lives...
