Nuclear Tipping Point

NUCLEAR TIPPING POINT is a conversation with four men intimately involved in American diplomacy and national security over the last four decades. Former Secretary of State George Shultz, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, former Secretary of Defense Bill Perry and former Senator Sam Nunn share the personal experiences that led them to write three Wall Street Journal op-eds, in support of a world free of nuclear weapons and the steps needed to get there. Their efforts have reframed the global debate on nuclear issues and, according to the New York Times, "sent waves through the global policy establishment."

The film is introduced by General Colin Powell, narrated by Michael Douglas and includes interviews with California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev.

we are not getting rid of nuclear weapons or nuclear power, this documentary is just to show people the facts and give some insight about international politics in the modern era.... basically states with nuclear weapons don't go to war with other states that have nuclear weapons.... and that's a fact.

@Kelly, @Faye -- sorry you feel that way. The film looks at why the U.S. and the world should work toward a world without nuclear weapons.

...what's more Kissinger is a war criminal and was friend and supporter of Pinochet. Christopher Hitchens' book the Trials of Henry Kissinger tells it all. There is also a documentary of the same title.

I agree with you Kelly. Are they also campaigning to scrap nuclear power? What's the purpose? I think they laying the groundwork/justification for invading Iran.
