Thank you for this. I grew up in the '70s in Los Angeles. Now, at 60, i'm stranded in a small town, alone and afraid of everybody around me. Hugs to "Family" and friends in Oil City. Thank you for your courage!

It is a sad commentary on our times when children are bullied for being different. However, this bullying has become worse from when I was in junior high school and was bullied and abused for being different. I was not and am not gay but I relate because people had labeled me as gay when I was in middle school. I guess I am lucky that my teachers were a bit more sensitive. Maybe because it was junior high school and children are just coming into their own. Anyway, thanks for telling the story of CJ. My hat is off to him, his mom, and all the people in Oil City that are forcing Oil City to grow and change. Tolerance can only happen when we remind people that everyone deserves respect to be who they are and love who they want. Thank you for this most important documentary. It is a very important film that needed to be told.
