Painter of the Land Synopsis
While many associate artists such as Monet and Van Gogh with the French countryside, director Joel Fendelman discovered the true landscape artist in French farmer Georges Adrian. Adrian paints the earth with his hands and his heart, noting that without the small farmers, the French countryside would not be what generations have come to romanticize.
