  Magnificent doc on a fantastic band! It saddens me in a way that The Fleshtones never got their one big payday, but I'm comforted by the fact that they all seem ok with that. Their work ethic is admirable and they seem like such nice guys. Long live The Fleshtones!!!!

  Thank you to Geoffrey Barbier and Cold Cut Prod.for catching the pure spirit of what America has best to offer, the guardians of the temple > The fabulous Fleshtones! I'm from Switzerland, and I've seen them over 20 times now all over Europe since 30 years now, and I still do not understand why USA do not celebrate and cherish such a gem. They just represent what American music is about, and probably what rock n'roll should still be. I cannot tell you how disapointed I feel each time I go to New York, asking for news or venues of the band, and nobody cares... This documentary just shows the truth, they are what they are, no trick, no bull####, no lightshow, thank you so much for that. They are better than ever, long life to the best live band ever.

  No matter how down I am, seeing the Fleshtones live cheers me up. Probably the best live band I have ever seen over the last 30 years. I especially like the fact that their drummer is from Troy, NY, allowing me the opportunity to attend many of their live shows at Arties in his hometown. I always mention them to anyone who thinks they know anything about music.

  the fleshtones are one of my two favorite bands of all time, tying with The Bags. i love this band. if i was rich, i'd quit my job an go see them every night, in every country.

  Kevin Whitestone NY I know some of the players before they were the Fleshtones, and after reading the book and watching the documentary/promotion I have more questions than answers. The last thing I recall the band was starting to catch on Judy Monteleone had just married Keith. Jude was working two jobs paying the rent, renting and driving the van to and from gigs does anyone know what really happened. How about Keith was seeing Wendy four a year on the side and Keith just called Jude on the phone and said I’m never coming home.NOW THAT’S A REAL MAN (NO SPINE) no explanation out like old trash

  It's never mattered to me that The Fleshtones didn't "make it big." That's someone else's definition of success. The Fleshtones are successul because they happened to me, to the fans and friends standing with me in clubs in Boston, Providence, New Haven, New York and every other place I've been over the past 30 years. They made our lives better, and that makes The Fleshtones the biggest band in the world.

  Great documentary! I'm going to have to pull out "Living Legends" and "The Fleshtones vs. Reality" to experience some classic Super Rock! I knew that they were on the same label as Robyn Hitchcock (Yep Roc) and if their new albums are as good as the songs I heard - they might be worth investigating. Glad to see a great band get some respect.

  Been a fan since the early days, see them whenever I can, buy all their albums (dating myself). I can remember dancing so hard my denim jeans were drenched in sweat. Water-logged. Great stuff. Then and now. Great film. Long overdue. The Fleshtones are keeping the rock & roll flame alive. Take a good look. And buy their music. Above all see them live. Passion needs support. God Save the Fleshtones! PS - History is written by the survivors. Don't worry about "Please Kill Me". It wasn't a very good book anyway.

  I paid $10 to download this a few months ago, and it was the best $10 I've spent in ages. Never fails to put a smile on my face. Best dance party band EVER!!
