Witness the events of December 7, 1941, as a Japanese carrier fleet launches a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor and the island of Oahu which ultimately demolished the United States Pacific Fleet in under one hour. Approximately 2,500 American lives were lost and numerous US military battleships and aircraft were destroyed.

I wonder how many survivors are still alive. It is not long before the last of these men passes. Like 9/11 this story will NEVER be forgotten. I have spoken to many WWII vets at my VFW and marvel at the kind of men they were and are. Only a country like ours could produce the quality of people like these men. God bless them!

My Mother-in-law is 84 and she can still remember exactly what she was doing on that day when they announced the bombing on the radio.
