  In this documentary Jillian's relationship never seemed to really go anywhere but downhill. Because, all of the guys but two pointed out that she did things that just drove them crazy. One being talking about people right in front of them and pointing at them. And, the second being that she seemed to desperate on trying to keep the relationship alive when it was clearly over. She seemed a little suprised to find out that all of her previous boyfriends cheated on her some just with a few women and others less than 100. And when she would end this relationship she must have been thinking how fast can I get another guy. According to (Insel & Roth, 2009, pg 74) they talk about unhealthy relationships and say that a relationship that lacks love and respect is unhealthy also. None of her previous relationships showed her any of these two things.

  Relationships have the tendency to change people, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. They also have the tendency to bring out the real person overtime. The lady in this film faced many challenges in her relationships. Relationships in general tend to start out good and like the man with all the tattoos said, "after the first kiss its ruined". I wouldnt go as far as that but I would say that relationships are almost always nice and peachy untilit starts to become intimate. Once the intimacy begins then issues start to occur. She faced the issue with honesty and openness. She said in her documentary that all her past men have cheated on her. She made it seem like her outlet from the world was guys, she turned to them and fell hard for them. she made it seem like she was dependent on them to fulfill her personal, financial, intellectual, and social needs (Insel & Roth, 2009, pp 69). And no relationship will fulfill all these needs. It also seemed to me that her and her exes had communication issues. Not so much as when they were dating but and just talking with each other; but when it came to expressing how they felt towards eachother and what they wanted out of each relationship. For example, the guy that was all tatted up did not feel he was an emotional person and she felt he was and she said he brought her emotions out. He also said that "they were to be one", (or something along those lines) but his actions did not have a direct correlation to what he was saying, so therefore there communication was an issue. In the book on page 72-73 they talk about conflict resolution and this is something that she has not done in any of her past relationships.It seems like she might be trying to go through the steps in her documentary now but this is after the fact. None of these issues that I just previously stated were present in the early stages of her relationships. But as time went on and they became more intimate and stayed together longer these issues seemed to develope. It is like my old coach used to say, " you cant play off of emotion because one that wistle blows its all about how good you are and the hype for the most part is gone. Thats how it is with relationships, once that time period of crush, after the first kiss, the only way the relationship will last is if there is a strong foundation,

  I like this documentary. She returns to the scene of the relationship to find anything recognizable or tangible. The reality of the situation is she is her love. The men cannot really handle the reality of it. The idea yes. The reality no. Well done. I bet Jyllian is a great lover.

  I found this film very well done and at the same time very fragile. It's obvious that Jylly has a lot of unresolved faith and trust issues. I sincerely hope she finds fulfillment soon.

  The anonymous boyfriend is "Steve" the bartender that marries Miranda in SEX AND THE CITY. Great movie.

  Very good indy. Man I feel bad for the guy in paris, he was really put on the spot. He was being forced to compare his current feelings with his girlfriend to Jyllian's face. He was being faithful to his girlfriend. If he had answered how he felt, he knew he would end up cheating on the girlfriend, which is what Jyllian wanted to make her feel like this is the way it was supposed to be. Sometimes guys are faithful, chickie. I can see that Jyllian needed a mother figure desperately to enforce responsibility and commitment. She has no close family example to model. Just like a single mother has difficulty raising a son with control over how he treats women. With no fatherly advice to make sane choices in relationships. I fear that she is not alone in the world as there are many single parents that have to deal with this struggle every day. Relationships are never perfect, so both must compromise. People can't change there ways easily if at all. Compromise doesn't mean change; not to be confused for each other.
