the IRA bombed the UK for years and years (too many terrorist acts to mention), but did we bomb the whole of Ireland - NO, we went after the terrorists and gave them a fair trail and put them in prison if they were guilty, don’t get me wrong mistakes were made. Amereica needs to focus on the people who are out to do them wrong and as for keeping the liberal press out of it, there needs to be balance to everything, a bit liberal, a bit right wing and it will balance out somewhere in the middle.

I agreed with America going into Afganistan/Iraq in the first place but now after the bull we were told about WMD and eight years of fighting in Afganistan and getting nowhere its time to get the hell out and leave them to it (making matters worse), all Americans need to realise that they don’t run the world and never will, the idea of freedom is that the people living in there own soverign country decide how it should be run, not have Americans decide for them, since the WW2 American govn. have messed around with so many countries around the world, installing tyrants and the like who they can control in some way $$$$. I don’t hate America by any means but I can understand why there are alot of people around the world who do.
Religion and politics should never mix, the worst mistake was voting in that far right wing christian fundamentalist BUSH, I hope your new president has more upstairs than him, maybe then there maybe peace and prosperety in the world once again for all

This “war” is just like Vietnam we had no “right” or “business” in it from the beginning.  If terrorist need to be eliminated then do so with surgical strikes of overwhelming air superiority and never, never commit ground troops to this kind of fiasco again.  Yes civilians will die, often times more than the combatants but if it is a true challenge to our country’s safety then let it be known from henceforth--you hide or aid our enemy whether man, woman or child there will be a price extracted on you--your demise!!!This starts today and will continue until all this countries enemies stop or die it is their choice.
