"God himself could not sink this ship.''-Titanic crewman. The unsinkable ship sank at 2:20 a.m. on April 14, 1912. Approximately 1,500 people perished with her, a loss that stunned the world. For seven decades the fabled liner lay hidden 13,000 feet below the North Atlantic surface. Various expeditions tried to find her, but they were defeated by wild weather, the extreme depth, and conflicting accounts of the ship's last moments. Finally, in 1985, explorer Bob Ballard and a French-American team located the Titanic. Years of painstaking research paid off as they became the first humans to see the great ship since that awful night to remember in 1912. You can join Ballard on the search-and see what his team saw-through this acclaimed film, Secrets of the Titanic.

God had nothing to do with it, it was nothing more than a mans ego, who wanted the biggest and the fastest ship, he pressured that captain to move faster, and that's what happened, he was moving to fast to stop the ship in time to avoid the iceberg.

This ship was sunk purposely because it had many bankers of our world on there. They wanted to get rid of them so they could start a different banking system. The thieving one we have today. Figure it out and realize what is going on in this world.

It's indeed a shame about the sinking of the Titanic. Based on my reading, in the construction of it, there was a lot of "cutting corners" and using inferior material. That should tell people something.

I WAS SPELLBOUND..........THIS WAS WELL DONE. THE CREDITS RAN TOO FAST. I WAS INTERESTED IN READING THEM ALL BECAUSE THIS WAS SO WELL DONE. IT SEEMS THEY WERE SO COCKY THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY SAFETY DRILLS IN THOSE DAYS......PERHAPS ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DIED HAD THE SAME FATE. HOW COULD THE POOR PEOPLE THEN AFFORD GETTING ON THE TITANIC.....WHO PAID THEIR FARES? LIFE IS MYSTIC. I HAVE A NEPHEW WHO I UNDERSTAND SAW THE FILM A FEW TIMES. I WILL FORWARD THIS TO HIM.

The Titanic exhibit in The Luxor, Las Vegas is great. Its better than in Branson because they have the largest section of the hull ever brought up. I cry at either one though once you see the baby items on display. But its amazing how many items Ballard has been able to bring up. The Luxor also has small pieces of coal for $40 that came from the coal hold.

God has nothing to do with the sinking of the Titanic. It was a combination of an Iceberg, darkness, and an over-zealous crew. If your god sunk this ship, screw your god.

What is a mere boat compared to the creater of all. They challenged him, these are ways of reminding us of who is the greatest though here not so subtle. For he declared "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.... "My thoughts are not your thoughts, and my ways are not your ways," declares the LORD....

ROBERT BALLARD IS TO BE AGAN CONGRATULATED FOR HIS EFFORTS IN LOCATING THE WRECK OF THE TITANIC. MY #2 SON WAS BORN ON THE DAY THE TITANIC SUNK AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN A SUBJECT OF GREAT INTEREST THAT DAY!
