STREET CHILDREN, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007, tells the harrowing story of homeless children living on the streets of Congo-Brazzaville. Through the story and eyes of Rod, an orphan who has grown up homeless, we get a brutal picture of children who are routinely beaten, raped, and assaulted. Yet STREET CHILDREN is not just a story of devastation and pain, but also one of redemption in the form of an Italian priest who steps in to fight for these tragically disenfranchised yet strong children.
Especially in places where resources are scarce and basic needs often go unmet, children face untold threats from violence and abuse. Learn More »
