The United Methodist Women, at my small country church, in College Mound, TX, are collecting pocket change and other donations to provide funding for repairing village wells, destroyed or contaminated in attacks by “enemy” militia. In these raids, many are killed, women raped, children left parentless, and all homes burned. By repairing the well, a new village can arise.
