Carl Sagan was great at bringing science to the masses. He was also a good guest on the talk shows of the time. Johnny Carson had fun with him on the “Tonight Show” more than once. Sagan may have gone a little “Hollywood” but he never lost his concern for mankind and, certainly, he died too young!

It is hard to believe that it has been 30 years since I first fell in love with this film and this series.  It is just as wonderful today as it was 30 years ago.

Probably next to “For all Mankind”, the most important Doc series ever made! If we could just listen and take into effect the real wonders of this world and beyond Dr. Sagan left us all to contemplate. If we could just take into effect the environmental, ecological and social disasters we are facing today and realize the importance that is “The Cosmos”. Maybe, just maybe we can survive… John V.
