  This was very good. This guy is not a kook. You never see him do anything illegal and you never see him get angry. His theology may not be perfect, but his heart is in the right place and he seems to be doing a lot of good. If only more of us had the courage and conviction to live our lives from a radically different perspective. By the way, he really wasn't involving himself in the whole charismatic "slain in the Spirit" thing. He seemed rather to be observing and only there to minister to others. This film was inspiring.

  Religion for me is a funny car accident I cant stop watching. The thing about this guy, is he is filling a need. All the way down to the cop with a hard-on to bust his ###!

  I watch this film with an open mind and I do find the "Jesus Guy" interesting but it also strongly highlights the wide spectrum of human dysfunction to me. When people start passing out and collapsing because some average generic Joe (who is perhaps the charisma star of his rural town of pop.1000 where 800 have never left) is babbling in "tongues"and touches them,etc..it's just the road of madness.Humans are still very primitive in linking mind with true nature and real knowledge that will give the species progress in living together.I'm not wanting to criticize but I often find it unbelievable that there is so much ignorance.Actually I'm just incredibly torn in my mind that in 2010 we are still such a haphazard species."What's your name" is a terrible answer to what's your name.
