The Minis Synopsis
Trash-talk doesn’t faze them. Taller competition doesn’t rattle them. In fact, this team of little people has street ball credentials and tricks that would make the Globetrotters stop and take notes. Still, they are faced with a monumental challenge – winning a $50,000 prize in a local basketball tournament so that Roger (a little person) can afford to send his son to college. As the days count down to the tournament, the team of little people is on a quest to find the “right man for the middle.” The guys chase after former NBA superstar Dennis Rodman. Rodman isn’t an easy sell until Jack the Agent (Richard Portnow, “The Sopranos”) convinces him that this team could be his ticket to a new public image. Rodman must decide whether to fade away or find the heart to help the team of little people play to win.
The Minis – with the help of a loyal Rodman – will pass, shoot, and weave their way into your heart, taking the words “teamwork” and “determination” to new heights. This heart-warming comedy is a fast break to fun for the entire family affirming that no dream – big or small – is ever out of reach!
