Also see lame foal video as a result of BLM running this little foal over10 miles in round up before his hooves were fully developed. This is example of BLM's care for these horses is why we need to call or email BLM Dir. Robert Abbey and request more humane treatment. Also request older stallion Conquistador be released and his mare Grumpy. 207-208-3801 email:Robert_Abbey@blm.gov When Mongolian horse dies on the race track the racer is dishonored as seen in this film. So to when these Pryor Mt. horses are injured the BLM is also dishonored. Thanks for your calls for the horses.

  This is just beautiful!! Most people look at horses as just another animal, but they don't realize the scope of horses connection to mankind. Thank God there are enough people in this world who have been bitten by the horse fly some time in their young lives. Thank you for this wonderful story of another beautiful creature we have taken for granted. Horse lovers will always be around and so will horses, but this film brings it alive!! Thank you so much!

  I am a lover of all animals especially horses and dogs. Courses demand our respect and protection as without them we would have never come across this great land of ours. Their beauty is beyond compare and much like dogs, they entrust themselves to our care and protection. There is nothing more beautiful than watching these horses run free across the Great Plains of Montana. This is a beautiful and emotional movie that tells us we must protect them. What would our history be if it weren't for these animals? In National Geographic Society should be commended for bringing this to our eyes and to those of our children who have not experienced the beauty of the horse. Let's please save them and respect them and do everything we can to continue our admiration. Celebrate them!

  Very positive emotionally moving hour about a four thousand year old relationship with another creature who gave mankind the ability to advance to the point of no longer being needed. Is that only filling the ancient void in man's heart is where the horse persistently remains. Think about it....have we as tailless primates, developed fleshy buttocks, not only to run upright, but to sit astride equus?

  This film refuses to play after many tries. I also clicked on the "buy DVD" and it did not work either. I would like to have this DVD if it is still available. Please advise.

  My husband and I are presently adopting a Mustang mare. We already have 3 horses, but just couldn't turn our backs on one of these horses. The well marked or paints, or the appaloosa mustangs go fast, but the ones that are considered plane because they are all brown or bay or black do not! We have what is called a dirty dun and consider her beautiful! Also there is a program now called "Trainer Incentive Program". This program provides an adopter with a trainer, who will,for no charge to the adopter, break and train the mustang for them. There is more about this program on the web site concerning adoption of mustangs. So for those of you who do not feel you are up to breaking and training a wild horse this may be your answer. God Bless all who love any animals, especially horses!

  To anyone that wants to save these beautiful Horses from extinct please join Care2 & petition with us.. these are being massacre as fast as they are being born... Please join & petition the Slaughter Houses that horses are being taken to... & please care enough to do something.. this video is beautiful... but the horses are being distroyed ...

  You cannot imagine the love that you can have for horses,once you have one. I now have 9 some rescued, Due to our economic situation I may lose my home and their home, I shed a tear everynight as I lay my head down. life would not be complete without them. They are incredible and beautiful creatures that we still have on this earth.

  Dear PDOG, As a Christian, I understand your positionn on "Evolution" ... However, I feel that Anne is correct in stating that the horses, as we know them today, are transformed (or evolved) from the animal they were centuries ago. To lead a person to believe God has not had a His Hand in this is to not give our Creator the credit He is due.

  To pdog: You don't want to buy this film because you "can't handle the truth". You say you want to "see a video on horses that shows the truth about them". But, the truth is, they DID "evolve" over time, into the beautiful animals they are. THAT ISN'T AN OPINION, IT IS A FACT, PROVEN THOUGH THE COLLECTIONS OF THEIR BONES OVER THE YEARS. IF you believe in God and "creation", then why can't you believe that GOD is WELL CAPABLE of "creating" the current world over the millions of years which science has shown us He has used, AND IS STILL USING? I BELIEVE, that God's "creation" is FAR MORE COMPLEX, THAN CHRISTIONS CAN COMPREHEND, AND THAT HIS CREATION OF THE "HEAVENS AND THE EARTH" MAY WELL INCLUDE BEINGS "IN HIS IMAGE" ON FAR DISTANT PLANETS, IN "HIS" UNIVERSE, WHICH WE MAY ONE DAY MEET.

  I love horses! But I was very disapointed in this video because I do not believe in evolution. I would love to see a video on horses that shows the truth about them without someones opinion on how they got here. Leave out creation (which I believe) and evolution and just tell the facts. I wanted to buy this video, but I wont now.

  I loved it. Actually brough tears to my eyes. I'm a horse owner myself and couldn't think of going through one day with out my beautiful mare. I think it is so important to bring up the publics awareness on ever aspect of horses past and future. We also need to eliminate all of the slaughter factories all together inside and outside of the US!! I could care a less what other countries eat, but it shouldn't be our horses.....

  Inspiring, breath-taking, brings back memories of my girls belonging to a 4H Horse Club for 10 years. Princess lived to be 37 years and the other two horese 30 years. Many, years ago I was a volunteer at a therapeutic horse back riding program for children and adults with special needs. Working with the children and seeing their courage and joy, I retired early and went to college and obtain a degree in Special Education. Watching "The Noble Horse" I decided to go back and volunteer again at the therapeutic horse farm for they still have the program and they need help. I'm very thankful and happy that I was able to view the documentary.

  Beautiful story on the noble horse. They are awesome creatures. They have done so much for us. Helped in tending to our all of our needs such as cultivating our land, fighting our wars,transportation,herding of animals. They are our history in so many ways. I have own horses and I loved them. They have such strength,grace and beauty.They are all a treasure. God bless them all. Thank you for the story.I could go on about horse. They have given us so much.
