The Scar

The Scar Synopsis

A film commemorating the inner German border (the wall) with fascinating cinematography and sound. A helicopter equipped with a camera explores in real time the length of the 156 kilometer long 'no man's land' that isolated West Berlin within the former GDR (East Germany). With an original score by FM Einheit, producer, sound researcher and percussionist of Berlin-based industrial pioneers Einstürzende Neubauten.
