Awesome! It’s Hans Solo in the Millennium Falcon! I hope this helps to improve tornado predictions and methods for protecting people and property. Great work! Posted 07/05/09 by dj
I have lived in OK for many years. During the war in Iraq, I’ve seen images of unmanned remote-controlled planes. Why couldn’t those be equipped with instruments and flown directly into tornadoes at any level of the funnel? Yes, they would create more debri. But the information gathered could be sent out and stored in its own ‘black box’. If one day scientists could predict when and where a tornado will strike, some of that same information may be used to more accurately predict hurricanes. |
