In a hidden beach town, on the last day of summer, a family of three generations recounts stories of past seasons. With humor and sadness, small tales are told of how the family "took over" the area by building and inhabiting modest yet kitschy homes. Only the combination of summers and family can bring smiles and tears the way stories of running on rocky beaches and riding rusty bikes can.
Shot both on 16mm film, and Digital Video, it is moments like these that are visualized in strange and artful ways. This film was originally selected by IFC for its celebrated Short Film television series.
