This was news to me. I had no idea such a law had been passed anywhere. I wish we had this kind of legislation here in the US. As it stands now, women who are abused have to leave their homes, leave everything they own, and leave the neighborhoods where they have friends and families. They are the ones who end up being punished for the violent acts of their partners. It doesn’t seem at all fair. I am disappointed that the end of the film was cut off and I didn’t see it. Perhaps this can be mended so that everyone else can see the film i its entirety.
