  Excuse me but the Turkish judges are now handing out "extremely harsh punishments for honor killing" because the punishment is "life in prison"? How is "life in prison" too harsh for the crime of murder? Especially the murder of an innocent woman who also happens to be a relative? Women are most at risk of violence by those they know, this is doubly true for arab women I guess. When will these retarded murderers understand that when they kill their female relatives, they kill whatever "honor" they have left. Honor is a person's own behavior!

  I am very surprised when a poll was taken at a University and about 42% of young male students believe in Honor Killings. If this generation in Turkey still has beliefs in this old custom ( even the so call" educated" young men) it will take a long time to have this "Honor Killings" custom disappear from their society. There's no honor in murder. Islamic, murder and violence which is not in the Korean. The villagers must be educated and have heavy punishment for their crimes. There is no Honor Killing a family member...what SHAME! Re-educate the University men...have a class that all young men must take before graduating! Starting in elementary school, repeat in High school & University!

  Excellent film. I wish there were more like this putting a spotlight on so called 'honor' killings. When will these men learn that their honor comes from their own actions?
